Shirley is now located in Southwest New Mexico, in a lovely village named Santa Clara, which is near Silver City and the beautiful Gila National Forest.  I will be servicing Silver City, Tyrone, Bayard, and Hurley area's as well as Santa Clara.  Hopefully Deming and Lordsburg will be added soon.


This is a Building Block System that is successful for puppies and adults, that covers basic manners and problem-solving in all courses as well as obedience.

I am no longer taking new clients in the San Fernando, Simi, and Conejo Valley’s California area nor in the Scottsbluff, Nebraska area. Although if you are a previous client and need a refresher please contact me about when I might be in your area.

• Group classes in Household Companion Obedience, and Manners,
• AKC Competition for cd level, Rally.
• Private Obedience classes in your home. 
• Puppy or Basic Starts all the ground work and Socialization.
• Intermediate and Advanced are for adding distance, distraction, duration and competition work.
• Rally-O, Tricks or Agility Just for Fun are available on request! They will help hone your skills while having a blast with your dog, great for kids and teens too.    

 With over 20 years of dog training experience, Shirley has worked with hundreds of people and their dogs.  This is a positive and fun training experience for both dogs and owners.  We welcome all ages and breeds of dogs.  Children must be accompanied by a parent, and must be approved to handle independently.

Our Objective is to assist people and their dogs to a better understanding of their environment.  To assist people in understanding the difference in “How humans learn vs. How Dogs Learn”.  For my clients to have a fair expectation of what their companion animals can and cannot do.  To help people enjoy life with a great companion and for their companions to enjoy great owners.

Our Class Requirements
Puppies must be 10 weeks of age.
All dogs must be on a leash when exiting the vehicle and entering class area.   

Options
Group classes at this time are as follows:
I have an approved outdoor site for group classes.  If interested please contact me for dates. 
Private Clases in your home: This option can be set up according to your schedule, which makes it idea if you work nights or swing, have children or other obligations which make your schedule challenging.  I do sets of 4, 6, or 8 classes at a time depending on what exactly you need.  

Create your own group class: Get 4 or more friends,  family and neighbors together with dogs and we can arrange a group class in your home or neighborhood.

Special needs available by appointment which need to be scheduled with trainer. We have pride in our services and are committed to all our students four legged and two. We have worked with many dog clients who were difficult and had socialization issues.  And we have worked with humans with physical limitations.
